"My daughter needed to go to the ..."

About: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

My daughter needed to go to the Jenny Lind Childrens' ward for a check up by the paediatrician. We had almost no waiting time, the areas for receiving patients and their carers were clean, bright and amazingly well designed for small people. The nurses and doctor all had fantastic, happy attitudes and spent as much time assuaging the concerns of the parents as addressing the needs of their patients.

Don't get me wrong, I hope I never have to take either of my children there again, but if I had to, I would know that they were in safe hands.

What could be improved

I don't recall seeing any drinks machines/fountain.

Glad to hear the Jenny Lind Children's team looked after your daughter well. The Hospital Arts Project has just revampd the department and we think it look great too. Rest assured - there's a water fountain in the Jenny Lind Out-patient waiting room and on Buxton ward - opposite the play room.
