"A Very Sad Day"

1 week ago i discovered i was pregnant. As an 41 year old a blessing. Today I miscarried. I would like to send my Husband's and My sincere thanks to two members of staff who looked after me. I was afforded the utmost compassion and kindness. A very shocking, frightening and tragic event was made as human and bearable as i could have in my nightmares imagined. I will always feel gratitude to those women and the empathy they showed. If you are pregnant and worried I would strongly advise you go to the Stanway Ward. We are bereft tonight. Obviously. I never remember to post this stuff but i have never felt so strongly that people should be commended. Thank You. We are looking forward to you meeting the baby we are going to have.
