After receiving the worst phone call I have ever received to date my husband and I made our way down to Lancaster from Edinburgh as my dad had taken unwell whilst on holiday with my mum. He was getting admitted to ICU and was in a poor way.
On arrival to ICU we were greeted by a brilliant team of professionals. The care my dad received was consistantly exemplary. He was in the unit for over a week and during that time he never received anything other than superb care.
I will never be able to repay my appreciation for the care that you gave to my father and I would like to express my sincere thanks to everybody involved in his care.
My dad is now home and making progress though not as quickly as he would like!
