Arrived at hospital 7.55 am and had ticket 21 First number not called until 8.15 am My number 21 called at 9.30 am 3 nursing staff on duty to take blood Average 7 blood tests for each nurse in 90 minutes Really poor performance Not Acceptable

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to learn that your experience when visiting the new hospital was not as positive as we would hope.
A review of the phlebotomy service will be undertaken to ensure that the Trust is meeting the needs of the patients who attend the clinic for blood tests and is able continue to provide an excellent Phlebotomy Service to our patients. Alongside the review, the phlebotomy service is currently recruiting staff to help with the increase in service demand.
