About: Poole General Hospital

I underwent facial reconstruction and cannot thank the surgeon enough for the outstanding level of care and attention regarding my care before, during and after my procedure! Top surgeon by far! Some nurses on the ward were lovely and very helpful although a fair few lacked this! Quite honestly I did a better job looking after myself! I was forgotten about after asking for things and told to wait! Despite this I really cannot fault the work to my face! Very grateful, thank you!

We are pleased to hear that you were happy with the care and treatment provided to you by the Surgeon and his team and will ensure that your kind comments are forwarded to the OMF department and theatre staff. However, we are disappointed to hear that you felt that the post-operative care on the ward, left you feeling frustrated and you felt you had to care for yourself during this time.
