"not listened to, very de-valuing experience"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital (Taunton)

I was taken to MPH when paramedics believed I was suffering a stroke. I was taken to CT and seen by a Dr from the neurology department. The Dr was dismissive and rude and did not take the time to listen to me or indeed to the paramedics that treated me. I was seen for a total of 2 minutes by the Dr whereupon they made a rapid decision about what was going on for me. No further investigations were instigated and a referral to the TIA clinic from my GP never materialised into an appointment. I feel extremely let down by this department and was left feeling vulnerable, humiliated and fearful of further episodes as my case was not taken seriously.
