"Amazing care but bad outpatient communication"

About: Great Ormond Street Hospital Central London Site

We've been coming here for years with my son and I cannot fault the surgeons and doctors, they are quite simply the best there is and we are so thankful to each and every one. The outpatients appointments communication by phone and letter however are awful. We have had booked days off work/school to attend significant appointments and tests that had been cancelled without informing us. The receptionists are rude and unhelpful and regularly transfer you to random voicemails that are not the same department as that asked. Such a shame, I love GOSH and hold this place dearly in my heart but the outpatients appointments make an already stressful situation worse.
