"Awaiting a hip operation for more than 56 weeks"

i was diagnosed as needing a right hip joint replacement at my dr at wash lane . I choose to book at the oaks . I received appointment for the 3rd November . After this I was given a date for operation 2nd dec 2014 . In the last week of November 2014 . I received a phone call from the consultant surgeon's sec to inform me the operation was canceled due to my health history . And was told I would be referred to Colchester .. I have contacted wash lane Dr in the past three months that I have not had any letters from Colchester . Up to date . I have now waited seven months with out any letters . I know now if I get anything from Colchester I will have to start from the beginning with test and then wait for date for operation . My condition now is I am in constant pain and can't walk for more than ten steps without rest . I do believe I am in undue pain due to delay in seeing a Dr for surgery .
