"Infertility clinic"

I attended a clinic for infertility investigation. I'm 24 years old and regardless of age clearly this was a stressful and upsetting time, i'm also a junior doctor myself. As both a patient and a doctor I could not praise the doctor and the staff enough. I was investigated in a timely manor, if I had gone privately I do not expect my tests would have been done any quicker. All information was clearly given and pitched at both a level that was appropriate doctor to doctor but she also included my husband who is non medical and ensured that he understood. All decisions with regards to investigation were made as a corroboration between myself as a patient and them as a consultant. This doctor went above and beyond the duties of a doctor- coming personally to relay the findings of my surgery to me amid a busy operating list. They showed true compassion, has excellent communication skills and consultations never felt rushed. I could not have asked for a better doctor and truly could not praise them enough. It's a shame more doctors are not like her!
