About: Chase Farm Hospital

I would like to complain about the appointment system. Despite leaving mobile, landline and contact numbers I was not informed of an appointment either by phone or by post. I was phoned after the appointment had passed and asked why I didn't attend. The answer is that I didn't know about it. I was very upset because the person on the phone has the attitude 'well do you want you operation or not?'. This is not right. I attend every appointment I know about promptly, have never been late or cancelled. Because of the lack of co-ordination at the hospital I've had to re-do tests (blood and pre-assessments). I am made to feel like I am the one at fault.
