I went to this hospital as I was having a miscarriage. I arrived at 3:30 and told them I needed a scan to double check it was a mis carriage. I sat in A&E until 6:30 where I was seen quickly by a nurse who took my blood pressure Etc, they did not tell me if it was all okay just sent me back into waiting room. I then waited till 8:45 to then be sent from "urgent care" to majors. It took them half an hour to find me a room to go into and I ended up in recuss as there was no other space. Meanwhile during all this I was bleeding and had bad tummy pains. As I went into the major waiting area, one of the staff moaned as i sat down, proclaiming that I should not be put in here making me feel really Unwelcomed. I am 19 years old and wS by myself and was recieving no answers. Once I finally got to a doctor, they told me that I could not have a scan as it was closed (9:37pm) so I spent 5+ hours for nothing ?? I was crying in the majors waiting area and not one member of staff asked if I was okay. You do Not feel welcomed in this hospital at all and I defo would not recommend to anyone. The waiting room was so packed and no one was getting answers. It got up to a 5+ hour waiting time which is ridiculous. Never again will I be returning to such a horrible, disrespectful hospital.
"Terrible"
