What I liked

I had my baby at the hospital and I cannot express how wonderful all the midwives and student midwives were throughout my long and complicated birth. We started in the birthing unit and unfortunatley the birth did not go to plan and they needed to move me to the labour ward and to theatre. The midwives kept my husband and I informed throughout and we were lucky enough to keep the same student midwife with us in theatre. I can only compliment all the staff who work in the maternity department of this hospital, they do an amazing job considering the shortage of staff in this field.

What could be improved

More midwives! Those that are there are wonderful but they need more help.
