"When I had problems staff have listened and helped me"

About: Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust / Adult mental health (inpatient)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

It's 10 minutes away from my family which is excellent and 5 minutes by car.

Small group with lots of team work. We help each other. My letter says Nottinghamshire which is a massive area. I want to be near my family. we have got to know each other her including the doctors and nurses. I am used to a community nurse but when I get my discharge I still want to come to Broomhill for support. If we need advice and someone to talk to either Doctor or Nurse. When I have had problems staff have listened and helped me.

Thank you for your post and im really pleased to hear that you have felt that the staff have helped you and more impotantly you have felt listened to by the Drs and Nurses, I will feed that back to the team, I appreciate your concerns that due to the closure of Broomhilll that you will have to be moved away form your family, I know how important that is to you to remain in the Gedling/ Carlton area, when looking at move on pathways with yourself this will be made priority that you stay in this area, so you will contiue to have the support of your family.
