Was admitted to ward B1 for a total knee replacement June 2015 & from being admitted to being discharged I had first class treatment from every member of staff involved with my care. I went in feeling quite anxious but the nurse who admitted me was excellent & immediately put me at more ease. From thereon i was looked after superbly. All the staff work so hard & sometimes with difficulties but treated everyone with respect. Every nurse involved with my care were brilliant & deserve praise. The NHS gets a lot of flack - people can be quick to complain but never praise. In my own personal experience i could not fault anything or anyone. Staff like this make our NHS great and we are so lucky to have it. My thanks go to not only the ward but to the doctor, theatre staff, physio staff etc etc - the list just goes on. I thank you all for making my stay with you so bearable & comfortable.
