I have attended a foot clinic for over a year and nothing seems to have progressed. There is much talk about further treatments but little action or promise of being treated safely @ these further treatment facilities. The Podiatrist is patronising and doesn't seem to live in the real world. I have had to endure listening to them talking about "keeping off my feet", good in an ideal world, but not when you have to do everything yourself. Three times I have been asked whether the foot has been X Rayed and on being told negative nothing is done to arrange an X Ray. I seem to be passed around like an unwanted parcel After a year's attendance I am sick of this treatment and would like to see a proper Dr without the patronising, stupid, & unreal suggestions on life style, or the refusal to commit to any form of real advice, or should I say advice that can be used in the real world. My life style is fairly healthy. When is Poole hospital going to get this foot clinic running efficiently and into the real world? When is a qualified Dr going to attend this clinic? The other people in the Dept. are superb but the senior personnel are wanting
"Get into the real world... Diabetic foot clinic!"
