Had cause to visit the minor injury unit today. Clean, friendly and efficient, expecially the nurse I saw. Very knowledgable and knew exactly how to treat what I thought was a bite but turned out to be an absyss. The nurse even phoned my doctor so that my existing drugs would not clash with the ones they gave me. The nurse then called me in the afternoon and suggested I came in again today to redo the dressing. The nurse's demenour and politeness were second to none. Also had a chest x-ray this morning with a radiographer, who was also polite and friendly and very efficient. Had a blood test last Tuesday which although there were 14 other people in front of the me the wait was very quick and the phlebotamist who did it was great (friendly and chatty), also only left a slight mark on my arm. I am very lucky to have such a good hospital local to me.
