"First Class Care"

I attended A&E at Hexham General Hospital on Sunday, following a fall from my bycycle. I was seen very quickly by a Nurse Practitioner. After an initial thorough check over and a referral to the x-Ray department, I was given a comprehensive assessment of my injuries and, after initial treatment, received clear advice and guidance on what to do thereafter. I feel it important to say the Nurse was very thorough, very caring, pleasant and took time to explain things. I made a follow up visit on the Friday when I was again seen by this nurse as well as a doctor. Both were just as helpful and reassuring. I was very impressed overall with the treatment I received.
