What I liked

On Cassio Ward I found most staff to be friendly, communicative, helpful and respectful. The ward was kept clean and the food was remarkably good considering the large numbers being catered for and the special diets available.

What could be improved

It's always difficult spending time in hospital but I can honestly say that the only inefficiency was on discharge. The pharmacy take far too long to process drugs when the staff are often aware of discharge well in advance. This was my second stay in Watford General Hospital and on both occasions the pharmacy took a ridiculous length of time just to give me back the drugs that I'd brought to the hospital myself!
