My husband had accident at work on 7th June taken to A&E then told to attend fracture clinic on 9th June for ultrasound. He was told that he had ruptured his bicep in left arm and had to return next day (10th June) for MRI scan which he did. He had all at fracture clinic again yesterday where straight away they said he needed operation asap. Got told go home pack a bag and wait for call. Call came later on that afternoon saying not to eat anything after 3am and they would call this morning to tell him what time to come in. He got the call telling him that another specialist wants to look at his arm next Tuesday. It's disgusting the way they treat people at this hospital being told you need urgent surgery then making you wait nearly a week just so that someone else can say the same. The muscle is completely off the bone, he's in agony. Added to that I had an MRI done on my brain on 1st March this year and they still haven't notified me of the results. Fuming an angry aren't the words to use.
"Supposed to have op today."
