"Dreadful diagnosis"

About: Watford General Hospital

I went into A & E on 29th May 2015 with a collapsing knee after a netball injury. The nurse took one look, proded it and said that I should RAISE it and left me with a pair of crutches and said I would be back playing netball in two weeks. As I left A & E the knee collapsed again but I asumed they know best. It now traspires, after returning to my GP and an MRI scan that I could have had weeks ago that I have a torn Anterior Crucial Ligament and will not be playing netball for 6-12 months and it will need surgery to repair. What a dreadful diagnosis I was given at Watford. It was obvious to me that I had something serious and I'm no nurse. Why was I not throughly examind and scanned. I was left to suffer. Disgusting. The dreadful reviews about Watford are all true.
