About: Wansbeck Hospital

I was taken into A&E I lost vision , face dropped , amongst other problems . Seen by a very disrespectful Dr and told I had a headache because I was only 39 years old !! Later seen by the RVI who reassesd me to find is had a TIA . For this issue alone id never want to go back to wansbeck , however I have family members who owe there life to the staff in wansbeck .

Dear Sir / Madam, I am so sorry that you didn't get the care you expected whilst at Wansbeck and that you felt your symptoms weren't taken seriously or accurately diagnosed. I imagine it must be very frightening to have a suspected stroke and can only offer my apologies that you weren't shown the respect you wanted at that time. If you were able to share your details with me confidentially on annie.laverty@nhct.nhs.uk I would like to follow this up. It is unacceptable for any of our staff to behave in a disrespectful manner so it would be helpful to understand a little more about what happened to you.
