"I wish I could thank them in person, they took such good care of me"

About: Poole General Hospital / Accident and emergency South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / NHS 111

(as the patient),

I fell over whilst I was out and about and was laid flat out by the fall. I had several cuts and bruises on my face, hands and legs and I think a person from the offices nearby called for the 111 service. A very kind woman, with her elderly mother in the car, stayed with me all the time until the paramedics arrived, cleaned me up and took me off to Poole hospital.

The paramedics were lovely – two young women called Lara and Lorna who cleaned me up, checked me over and took me to have the cuts treated in hospital.

I wish I could thank them in person, they took such good care of me. Thank you.

Dear Quick222

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I hope you are feeling much better now.

It is always rewarding to hear that our staff are continuing to provide excellent care to our patients when they need us most.

I will pass your kind comments onto Lara and Lorna who came to your aid, and ensure they are recognised for the care they gave.

Thank you again for providing feedback on our service.

Kind regards

Laura
