If I could choose 0 stars I would. Many times I have been here, on one of the first times a nurse was trying to take blood out of my dad without using the elastic strap (he's a big guy) I asked them to use it, they then put the tape (to put over cotton when finished) on the metal of the bed which was grimey. I heard a noise next room over the nurse dropped the patients blood test with needle on the floor and some blood splattered on the floor (remained there our whole trip). Another time a drunk woman kept trying to get into my dad's cubicle she wet herself right outside it was not cleared up immediately. There's so many more occassions (my dad is registered disabled). But today! I was sleeping in because I didn't sleep until 7.30 this morning and my brother called an ambulance for my dad, they told him they will call him back in an hour please bare in mind that my dad has also got an enlarged liver. The ambulance finally arrived (I was still asleep) but my brother was rather upset when he told me how they treated my dad. They also asked why I'm not up and rolled their eyes!! Dad was laying in bed and the ambulance staff asked him if he could get up, he was crying in pain. (Not knowing my brother was behind the door) they shook their head at him whilst the other ambulance person stood there cross armed. Let me just say they are lucky I was asleep or I would tell them what for. They are supposed to be caring, emphatic and keep the patients dignity at all times. Service is beyond disgusting and I just wish we lives 2 miles toward chelmsford!!!!
