I was driven to A&E by my wife after suffering severe chest pains during the night. I was quickly seen and had a range of tests throughout the day. (Blood, an ECG, Xray, ultra sound and an MRI scan). At every stage the staff were very professional and I was made to feel completely at ease. The tests showed I had gall stones. What they were and how I could minimise the risk of more of them moving about was clearly explained as was the suggested operation. With a few weeks I had a Pre Op assessment where again the staff were fantastic and the tests were smooth and quick. A few weeks further on and I’ve now had keyhole surgery to take the gallbladder out. I’m sitting here at home recovering thinking how fantastic the whole system and staff have been. Where else in the world can anyone just walk into a hospital and receive such care and dedication by such professional and caring people. Hats off to the NHS and the staff that make it so great.
"Just fantastic, thank you"
