"Refused care by midwife on duty"

About: Northwick Park Hospital

My wife is a private patient who registered with an obgyn in Loughton and due to this choice of ur baby was delivered in Queens Hospital in Romford. However as we are staying in Wembley, our post natal care was transferred to this area and we have received two visits from the midwives. My wife began feeling unwell on Sunday evening during breast feeding, and as the evening wore on her discomfort grew. We decided then to call the emergency number given to us by the midwives for the North a West London NHS trust and spoke to a midwife on duty at 11pm on the 14th of June. Our interaction with the midwife was very unpleasant as they were very uncooperative and refused us care. 1) The midwife refused to answer a simple question asking where the location of the hospital they were located as it was not included on the form but they refused to give us the location. 2) Although we explained that we do not have a GP as private patients the midwife insisted we go back to Queens hospital in Romford for care. They gave no options or advise that could help us out of our predicament. 3) The midwife was curt and dismissive in their responses.
