"In grateful thanks to Medway Maritime"

On February 27th. I was involved in a serious accident involving the need for all three emergency services.

May I, through this site, thank most sincerely the entire staff of the Medway Maritime Hospital in Gillingham where I was taken. The service I received during my short stay there was second to none, and I would also like to thank those members of staff who are so often taken for granted, or indeed not even thought of at all - the catering staff, the cleaners, the clerical staff - the list is endless. ALL are members of a vital and much needed team. While politicians love to score points arguing about staffing shortages, financial resources and the like, when it boils down to it, I thank God that this country has a system where regardless of one's social of financial status, emergency help is immediately available.
