"Labour Ward and Midwifes"

labour is pretty traumatic for all women specially your first. I cannot thank the amazing Midwifes on the labour ward and antenatal care before hand! I was admitted to chamberlain ward in slow labour. The whole maternity unit was massively busy and they where so understaffed. I have never felt more looked after. When being taken on to the labour ward I met with my midwife who was amazing. They pushed me through even when I thought I couldn't do it. They also stayed back after their 12 hour shift to meet my little man as he still hadn't arrived by that time. Also the student midwife was lovely. They stayed with me after and even visited me on the ward after I had given birth. I have never been prouder of Harlow hospital. You hear so much bad press but I honestly couldn't fault it. Thank you so much for everyone who looked after me. ??
