Thank you for your kind comments about the staff on these wards. Indeed like all of our staff, they work hard to provide our patients with high quality care.

With regard to the shifts that our nursing staff work, they are entitled to breaks - not just because legislation like the European Working Time Directive, but because it is right that should have them in the in first. It's also important to stress that where our staff do work long shifts, they also have whole days off in between.
