What I liked

I recently had a week long stay in lister hospital on ward 8b south and was extremely pleased with the level of care I received. The nurses were excellent and always looked after me well. On a couple of occasions I was tearful on the lead up to some unexpected surgery and the nurses sat with me and discussed my worries and really supported me. I would highly recommend this ward to anyone staying. Also the urology consultants were extremely helpful and worked quickly to sort my problem.

Thank you so much for your kind words about the staff on ward 8B south here at the Lister. In so many ways the support they gave you is typical of the care that so many of our patients receive. Of course we don't always get everything right and there are always things that we can do better, but overall our staff provide really good care for their patients, which is why we were delighted to learn about your experience.
