"Aftercare"

About: Whiston Hospital

aftercare at ward 3b is terrible I was left in recovery for over 30 minutes waiting for someone to come to take me back after 2nd phone call to ward the staff member in recovery ended up taking me back, then had to wait to hand over, gave me a drink of water then after a couple of hours had to ask for a cup of coffee then I asked if I could go home a nurse came and said yes they'd be back 1 hour later they came back then had to disappear again because they had forgot something, I was also told better to get painkillers on wat home rather than wait for pharmacy was also told they'd send me discharge papers in post, still waiting 1 week later, I could've just walked out of there at any time and nobody would've noticed, nobody stopped my husband walking in either he could've been anybody for all they knew as it wasn't visiting time
