"Admin"

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

as with most Hospitals the Admin seems to mess up much more than is acceptable, it wastes so much of staff and patients time, and often means your waiting twice as long because of paper- NHS old fashioned system of specialists writing to each other with windy polite letters is rididiculous in the day and age of computers Second issues as in all again the food is so very very poor- NHS money wasted on rubbish suplliers

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to learn that your experience of our administrative processes was not as positive as we would hope during your visit to Manchester Royal Infirmary. It is important to us that comments are heard and seen as an opportunity provided to the service to make changes and improvements wherever possible. In response to your comment, I can tell you that we are in the process of updating all of our computers and introducing standards across a wide range of administrative functions. We will ensure that our Transformation Team who are leading the improvement programme are aware of the feedback you have provided.

We would also like to apologise that you did not find the food to be of a satisfactory standard as we aim to deliver a high quality service to all our patients and their visitors. If there are any specific issues which you would like to discuss or would be prepared to share for investigation then please do not hesitate to contact us, as we are constantly striving to improve the quality of the patient experience and we recognise that food is a key element of this experience.

It is difficult to respond to all the posts in a comprehensive way often because of a lack of detailed information, therefore if you would like to discuss this with us in more detail, please feel free to contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service on 0161 276 8686 or by e-mailing pals@cmft.nhs.uk.
