On Sunday 16th May I attended the Minor Injuries department after a nasty fall, with a badly lacerated arm and knee. I received excellent care and the nurse on duty did an amazing job patching me up. I had a follow up appointment on Thursday 21st and again the nurse was fantastic. I went to my own surgery when I got home and they were amazed at the way my arm had been treated. Today the dressing is finally off and I am sure that within a couple of weeks there will not even be a scar. So many people criticize the NHS but I am full of praise. The nurse who treated me originally was an agency nurse only working part time, more is the pity. I wish I could thank the nurse personally, but hope this message may be passed on. Thank you.
