I would just like to inform people with my experience within the accident in emergency department at Bradford Royal Infirmary as I always tend to see reviews within this department with bias opinions and people need to realize that it is not always bad as people seem. I recently came to the accident and emergency department on Wednesday the 20th May after having a severe panic attack and overdosing. I spoke the the nhs response team up at bri who then made me ring for an ambulance. As soon as the ambulance came the two paramedics were very polite and reassured me that everything would be okay as I was on my own. Despite having to wait for a bed for the first hour or two, once being given a bed the team were very officiant on checking on me frequently as my heart rate ended up two to three times the average rate. After being on the a&e ward the department I was referred to (ward m4) were extremely polite and well-mannered in putting in place a long term plan for my well-being.
