"Highgate Private Hospital"

Highgate is unarguably an excellent hospital. The nursing and medical staff are meticulous in their provision of care and attention to detail. The hospital is spotlessly clean and furnished with the very latest medical equipment. All in-patients are given private rooms, which are again spotlessly clean, comfortable and in good repair. On the day of my knee arthroscopy, staff visited me regularly before and after treatment. The nurse assigned to look after me during my stay made me feel reassured at all times. I felt I was in good hands. Visits to the hospital prior to treatment were equally good, although I was kept in the dark concerning a date for surgery until the eleventh hour. And while there's no doubt all medical staff at the hospital are extremely capable, the admin staff are less friendly and helpful. At times they were also at pains to point out my NHS status and when I was promised someone would call me back, it didn't once happen. In summary, I was extremely happy with the level of care I received at Highgate Hospital and would recommend it to anyone. However, the admin staff could work on their manner and equal treatment of patients regardless of how their healthcare is being paid for.
