"Excellent birth and postnatal care"

I had a c section at Chelsea and Westminster on June 2 2015,, and I couldn't have been happier. Everyone, from the midwifes to the consultants, were very polite and helpful, always informing me about the procedure and my choices. Postnatal ward was better than I expected, with curtains to be drawn for privacy (toilets were a bit dirty at times, but that's to be expected in such a busy ward) and the nurses/midwives worked hard to ensure everyone had what they needed. Many thanks in particular to the recovery midwife team of the Simpson Unit for being so helpful and helping me getting enhanced recovery and going home just one day after my c-section.
