(as a relative),

We are on holiday here in Cornwall from Scotland with my elderly mother and we were very concerned about her as she was very weak and coughing a great deal.

After speaking to a number of people through the NHS111 service a very kind and capable Parmedic - Richard called to see mum. His professionalism and evident capability was so reassuring. It was agreed after consultation with a doctor that a doctor would call and see mum and she was prescribed antibiotics and now 24hrs later she is much improved.

I would like to thank South Western Ambulance Service and the staff who helped us especially Richard.
