"Terrible place"

Arrived with my heart racing and chronic shortness of breath, told by uninterested receptionist it would be a long wait tried to hand in a ECG and letter from heart consultant which they said you keep them. Told to sit and wait, approx. 1 hour later called in by triarge nurse, who was not that interested said they would arrange for me to have some bloods taken took to sit in a corridor in A & E she fetched me a chair. Approx 1 hour later started to experience pain in chest and breathing was worse, decided to find triarge nurse set off to find them, they was just coming up the corridor with form for my blood tests me thinking they had already been requested, the nurse informed me I would not be seen for at least 4 hours . I said I could not wait any longer as I was worried about my condition, they asked me to sign a discharge form which I did and my husband drove me to Louth A & E, explained my symptoms said I had just come from Grinsby, within 1 minute I was hooked up to ECG decided I was in AF which I was when I went to Grimsby according to the ECG I tried to hand in within 5 minutes I had been given a Cardioversion (electric shock to the heart) as the consultant said I was on the verge of a heart attack, luckily the shock corrected the rythym .The Dr said I needed to stay in for observation for the night but as there was no bed at Louth they had arranged for me to be taken back to Grimsby where they had a bed for me. That was a joke arrived at Grimsby at approx. 10pm big debate between ambulance drivers and staff as they had no bedsI sat and listened on the trolley, eventually agreed I could stay as Dr said it was dangerous to transport me again, spent till approx. 3pm on a trolley until I was taken to a temporary bed rigged up at the end of A & E. Had no sleep no food and only got a drink when I asked for one. Was never asked about medication and as I am an diabetic on insulin was very worried as had noting with me as I had gone in as an emergency. At 9am they wanted me out of the area I was in as it was used by a childrens clinic so I was moved to another dept where it was just chairs, no wash no breakfast, nothing , being seriously worried I asked for something to eat and drink and was given two slices of toast and cup of tea as I was still there at 12 noon received a packet of sandwiches and a drink. The last time I had eaten was at home at about 12 noon the day before so in 24 hours I had had a scone at louth 2 slices of toast and a round of sandwiches, and had none of my medication. The arguments continued throughout the morning about me being discharged or not , but eventually at 2-3 pm I was allowed home, no discharge information no advice and no checks on who was at home etc. I have got to say it would be the last hospital I would go to voluntary. I kept being told by each Dr I saw I was a high risk patient, if this was high risk treatment there is no hope for low risk.
