"Doctor review"

This Dr wasn't going to refer and was told they would 'eat their hat' if I did show any symptoms of inter-cranial hypertension, and made me feel like I was wasting their time and resources. The Dr also told me that a field defect my optician had found was my nose! After having a lumber puncture, it was confirmed I do have inter-cranial hypertension and that I now need to be treated as well as been seen by ophthalmology at Hallamshire hospital. The doctor came to visit me to confirm that I had high pressure, etc and I was still made to feel like I was wasting their time and they still tried to make me feel like my symptoms were nothing to be concerned about, as though they were just brushing me off. Barnsley hospital is a brill place and they do look after you, it's a shame about a handful of the doctors/consultants that work there.
