"What an amazing hospital thank you for looking..."

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

I wanted to thank the staff at the royal. There has been alot of bad press recently regarding hospitals and with the government cuts irrespective what they say about putting more money into the nhs it's not true! The staff are under a lot of pressure. They treated my dad who was admitted yesterday. The care and tests they did was remarkable. The support and help provided was fabulous. It's important to learn lessons but more important to spread the positive experiences. Thank you for being wonderful to my dad. Salute you. I hope the greater Manchester devolution supports the work you are doing

Thank you for your comments posted on the Patient Opinion website regarding the care your father received from the Manchester Royal Infirmary’s Accident and Emergency department. It was very kind of you to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects their hard work and dedication. It was reassuring to hear that you thought that the care and treatment your father received was remarkable despite the staff being under a lot of pressure at the time your father was admitted. We can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to the A & E Department manager and to the staff involved.
