"Great staff poor reception"

After selecting this hospital for the birth of our first born based on a recommendation from a friend, all I can say is the staff (reception excluded) have been fantastic, they have been friendly, informative and patient. The negative! The main maternity reception staff have been awful. On the 5 visits so far they have ignored us every time to continue their conversations private or otherwise. The have often looked at us, not acknowledged us and continued with their conversation. As I said before the other staff have been fantastic (midwives, doctors and sonographers) if it were not for them we would have transferred due to the poor poor patient service from reception.
