"Disgusted at the Doctor's behaviour"

About: Heartlands Hospital

I took my elderly 74 year old grand mother to the Diabetes and endocrinology centre. The nurse who checked my grand mother was very polite and caring. The doctor on the other hand could at least learn some manners in how to treat elderly patients. They were rude, impolite and very unreasonable. I am disgusted at this doctor who should learn some manners and should not think that it is alright to be rude to patients. Terrible.

Dear Sir or Madam

Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent visit with your grandmother to the Diabetes and Endocrinology Centre.

I am sorry that you were unhappy with the manner of the doctor who saw your grandmother, and I would very much like the opportunity to look into the experience in more detail.

I would like to reassure you that we take seriously any issues our patients and families raise with us and we value your feedback.

Can you please contact me at your convenience so that I can obtain more information from you to enable me to raise your concerns with the Clinical Director for Diabetes and Endocrinology.

I can be contacted by telephone 0121 424 0808 or by email:

marie.helebert@heartofengland.nhs.uk

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards

Marie Helebert
