"Suffolk Sexual Health Genito-Urinary Medicine..."

About: West Suffolk Hospital

I last visited this department in Feb 2014 and vowed never to return. During the few months I attended West Suffolk Hospital, blood samples went untested, X Rays were lost and the treating doctor asked my GP to increase (double) my daily dose of Pravestatins without consulting me, claiming that they had tried to contact me, but I was never home. On my last visit when I presented in a very distressed state I was told to pull myself together and get out more and that they were only there to treat HIV. I now attend the clinic at Norfolk & Norwich Hospital where I am treated as a person, not just a virus and couldn't be happier with the respect and holistic approach to my care & treatment. The reason for the late posting of this review is that I developed the most severe side effects to Pravestatin. I now have my life back after my GP finally accepted that this medication was responsible and I stopped taking them. Through a properly managed diet , thanks to N & N Hospital, my cholesterol is lower than 5 it was 6.2 when taking medication
