"I feel much better already"

About: Tameside General Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

(as the patient),

I had my tonsils removed at another hospital and for the most part the procedure was fine the only thing that let them down was they did not give me any antibiotics.

But just short of a week one side started to bleed in the night and I went to my GP the following morning and they sent me to Tameside A&E who had their ENT doctor look at me.

They admitted me for the night gave me antibiotics over night and were very nice and I must say the porridge I had for breakfast was lovely and a good cup of tea. But mostly I would like to say thank you as I only came home this morning and I feel much better already.

‘’Would you like to help the hospital to improve its services further? We are currently looking for patients and carers to become involved in a development called “Patient Stories”. We want to know more about our services from the point of view of those who received them – what was good, bad, what could be improved, what should be changed.
