What I liked

The fact that I was treated with respect & was involved in the assessment & treatment. At no point was I made to feel I was making too much fuss, and I was offered pain relief promptly & the offer was repeated. The Nurse Practitioner who dealt with my case was efficient , professional and sympathetic to my needs. All areas visited were clean and the staff polite & considerate and worked well together, really making a cohesive A&E Team. From the time of injury, to arriving back home only 1.5 hours had elapsed. Well done Hillingdon. I have only been retired since February after working for the NHS for 38years (the staff did not know this) and I was impressed by their standards.

What could be improved

At reception when I was feeling very shocked I had to wait at the desk for the paper work.

Anything else?

Too often Hillingdon Hospital receives bad press, my experience was re-assuring and pleasant given the cicumstances. All staff involved were professional and supportive to both myself and my husband.
