I was taken into the Edward Myers in a terrible state. My drinking had spiralled out of all control, having gone through lots of problems. Too many to mention, I thought my life wasn't worth living.
I attempted suicide twice, which was a massive cry for help, luckily I didn't succeed, with the help of all the Edward Myers staff, my 10 day stay put me back into wanting to live again, they saved my life, and I thank them everyday in my prayers.
I will be celebrating on th 12th of June ( with soda water) 2 yrs of sobriety, my life now is if I can say "perfect" I have got everyone back in my life who matter. My beautiful daughter, and two wonderful grandchildren, and lots of other special people, thank you again.
