"Repeated delays for Fracture Clinic appointments at Rotherham General"

I recently went to the Fracture Clinic at Rotherham General because I was experiencing foot pain. Everything about the way I was treated was good. However, the appointment system could have been better.

I had an appointment in April on a specific day at 11.45. At 1.15 I was still waiting and left. I made another appointment in May. This was for 10.55 and I was still waiting at 12.15. When we were informed that there would be a further 80 mins delay! I left at this point.

As both times were specific I did not expect to wait so long - a short delay is acceptable. If I was told to arrive at, say 8.30am and wait I would be prepared for that.

An appointment time should be just that...
