"pontefract antenatal and mlu"

About: Pontefract General Infirmary

I had scans at pontefract hospital at 12, 20, 32 and 36 weeks pregnany. I found staff professional and courteous and the service very good. I also had to call the community midwives a couple of times in my pregnancy for advice and they were always reassuring and took my concerns seriously. I gave birth at the mlu on 31 May and could not recommend it highly enough. The rooms are private, clean. and well equipped and have en suite. The level of care and attention from the midwives is amazing - I felt supported and empowered during labour and so relaxed afterwards. I went home a few hours later when I felt ready. I feel very lucky to have been able to have my baby there.
