"Urgent referral lost and just told to wait"

About: Charing Cross Hospital

Somehow my urgent scan referral was lost. Having spent a morning chasing Doctors and hospital and Doctor resending by fax several times, I'm now told I have to wait until at least tomorrow afternoon to even book as I need appointment approval and everyone is now busy. Doctor said I should be scanned within a week, but hospital don't seem at all concerned by urgency - in particular they show absolutely no concern that the delay was caused by them losing the fax - how can nothing be done to arrange an urgent appointment following an administrative error?!
