"eye operation"

I received a next day consultant's appointment following on from optician's call. Operation under general anaesthetic was performed after 2 days and I went home the same day. The consultant was helpful, clear, kind and skilled which is evidenced by the fact that the operation has been successful. The staff in the eye clinic and on the eye ward were all friendly and caring. I am extremely grateful to the NHS for providing such excellent care so quickly.
