I was referred to A+E on Thursday from my local walk-in centre with suspected appendicitis. I was on my own and terrified, and from the moment I walked through the doors, the staff were absolutely incredible. I was made to feel like the only patient in the hospital, and everything was explained clearly throughout. In particular, I will never forget a nurse who was just fantastic in every way.
